Dear Customers and Friends,

We are SO proud that our Swim Teachers, Reagan & Kristy, are moving forward in pursuit of higher education! They have selected very worthy degrees in their chosen fields! We are honored to have had such a wonderful relationship with them, and have especially enjoyed seeing them establish positive relationships with our swim students. They have been exemplary role models for your children.

The downside is that we will not have them here to teach anymore. We will miss their smiling faces and the sound of their laughter. It is almost as if our own daughters are going away to college, so don’t be too surprised if we get a little teary-eyed as we encourage them in their future successes.

An additional “downer” is that in today’s job market, there just aren’t many “takers”. There are hundreds of businesses trying to hire employees – and very few applicants, if any at all. We have pretty high standards for our swim teachers which limits us even more. Your children are precious and we take that fact very seriously!

The jobs situation is such a mess that several area businesses are limiting their days and hours of operation. Some are narrowing down the size of the areas that they serve. Others are limiting the scope of what they do.  

At Calypso, we have decided that our best course of action is to take a break and pause our swim class curriculum. We will resume when we are certain that the newest swim teachers are highly trained, fully vetted, and ready to teach your children the best possible swim program. It breaks our hearts to not have all of the remarkable little personalities coming in for swim lessons. We will miss you all very much! We will call you immediately when we are ready to rock ‘n’ roll with our new swim staff!
